Mumford method

Stephen Mumford, Professor of Metaphysics at the University of Nottingham and holder of a Leverhulme Major Research Grant from September 2016, has developed a method to write papers in an efficient way, to organise one’s ideas over time and to keep improving them.

He explains his method on his website.

Some of us, law academics, have tried over the course of the last months the method to present papers at conference or to progress in our writings. Here are some of our experiences: how we have learned from using it, what we needed to tweak and where we would like some ideas to move on with it.

If you want to share your experiences as a law academic with this method, please do contact us.
