I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Essex where I have been a Co-Director of the double degree in French and English law between 2010 and 2016. I am now also a Research Fellow at the University of Speyer in Germany. My research interests revolve around the interactions between public authorities, economic actors and non-economic actors in providing for the needs of vulnerable people in our societies. I mostly research these issues in the UK, France, Belgium and Germany but would love to expand my understanding to further European countries in the future.
After a PhD in Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, Laure joined the University of Essex in 2014. She is a Co-director of the French and English double-degree and also lectures English Family law. Her research area is Comparative family law, and she is especially interested by the concepts of autonomy and vulnerability.
